All to know about pitching

-keep your arm above your shoulder
-pull your glove into your side
-drive the ball down
-pitch downhill
-throw strikes
-turn your hips
-rotate your back foot when turning
-lift your knee about belt high or higher
-hold the ball correctly according to the pitch
-extend your arm
-fake the batter out
-have your arms mirror each other when going up
-come up to a set before throwing
-get to a balance point and then throw
-Have your foot point to the plate
-Have your leg push off the mound
-don't aim the ball
-throw your body into it
-put movement on the ball
-Don't let up
-Hide the ball until you release it

All to know about Fielding

----GROUND BALLS----
-Plant your feet firmly on the ground
-Bend your knees
-keep your glove on the ground
-Know what to do before the ball is hit to you
-Give your full effort to get to the ball
-Try to field the ball with just a few hops
-get rid of the ball quickly
-plant your feet before throwing
-charge the ball
-stay down
-be ready with your glove out at all times
-Field the ball out in front of you

-Drop step then run back
-sprint towards the ball
-don't drift back and then meet the ball
-Get behind the ball and run in
-use the crow hop when needed
-Have your momentum going towards the ball
-catch the ball with two hands
-Squeeze the ball tight when you catch it
-get a good jump on the ball when it is hit

All To Know About Batting

-keep your weight back
-keep your knuckles lined up
-wait for the ball to get to you
-keep your eye on the ball
-turn you hips hard and fast
-bend your knees slightly
-only swing at strikes
-rotate your back foot so it's pointing to where you want to hit the ball
-drive your hands threw the ball
-load before you swing
-when loading, move your arms back, not up.
-stand about a shoe length away from the plate.
-stand up straight
-have 60% of your weight on your back foot and 40% of your weight on your front foot
-Look for a fast ball, but if off speed is coming, adjust
-have your shoulders stay level when swinging
-swing sooner to hit the an inside pitch on the sweet spot of your bat
-swing later to hit an outside pitch on the sweet spot of your bat
-pull inside pitches
-take outside pitches the other way
-hit the ball as hard as possible
-try to hit the ball to a gap in the field
-hold on to the bat with two hands.
-Have confidence and don;t be afraid of the ball.
-with two strikes, swing at anything that is close to a strike.
-wait for a pitch that you like
-know what the count is at all times
-hit line drives, not pop ups
-don't swing on a 3-0 count unless its perfect

-when swinging, keep the bat level
-spread your legs about two feet or more apart
-watch the pitcher while warming up
-realize what kind of pitch it is by how the pitcher delivers the ball, the spin, and the speed
-step out of the box if the pitcher is taking too long
-Study the opponent's weaknesses and take advantage of it when hitting
-If you swing and miss, adjust
-Try not to get deep in the count
-don't back out before the ball gets to you
-keep your head in it, don't pull your head
-take your hands straight to the ball
